Connect in ChatGPT

During the private pilot, add a custom MCP server in ChatGPT's Plugins area using the endpoint below and the OAuth settings supplied to pilot participants. A package or URL alone does not mean the plugin is publicly listed.

Sign in with the account you use in I Told You. Review the home and permissions, then approve. You need to have created or joined a home in the app first. Password access is available for dedicated fictional review accounts; use Google or Apple for your existing account where configured.

Check or disconnect access

Open Connected apps in your browser to review permissions and recent use or disconnect. The mobile Connected apps screen requires an app version that includes that feature. Revoking access makes old sessions unusable; reconnect from ChatGPT if you want access again.

A change failed or timed out

A conflict means the item changed since it was read. Review its current state before trying a new edit. If a save timed out, ask ChatGPT to check the original request before attempting a new save so you do not create a duplicate.

A missing permission requires your choice to approve the relevant access. Repeated sign-in cannot override a restriction imposed by your home or account.

Opening an item on your phone

Item links work with a supported I Told You app version. If the app does not open, update it and open the appropriate home manually. The link itself grants no household access. Sign in to the account that belongs to that home.

What to include in a support request

Include the approximate time, the step that failed, an error code or request identifier if shown, and your app version. Please omit passwords, access tokens, authorization links, home keys, invitation codes and task text. Hide private content in screenshots.
