Your home, your connection.

This notice covers the I Told You connection for ChatGPT, operated by LAVS Strategic Marketing, INC. Connect only a home you are authorized to use. Availability depends on the supported ChatGPT connection flow.

What you share

With your approval, the connection can return your member name and account identifier, your home's name, timezone and members, and the chores, shopping items and routine schedules you ask to read. Item details can include titles, notes, checklists, quantities, assignments and dates. Your shared home's content belongs to the home context; consider your partner's privacy before requesting it in a conversation.

Read access is required. You can separately allow chore changes and shopping changes. Writes are made as the connected member and may trigger the app's existing notifications. Login passwords, access tokens, invitation codes and home encryption keys are not returned by the tools.

Storage and processing

Google Firebase provides account authentication, encrypted record storage and hosting for the application and this connection. An authorized server can decrypt requested item text to answer a tool call; I Told You does not claim end-to-end encryption. HTTPS protects network requests. OpenAI receives tool results in ChatGPT and handles them under the terms and privacy choices applicable to your ChatGPT account.

The connection itself does not call a language-model API, track you with advertising cookies, or put ads in tool results. The mobile application separately uses Google AdMob and its own advertising consent choices.

Operational records

We record connection and member identifiers, tool names, outcome categories, request correlation identifiers, timestamps and latency to operate and protect the service. Application audit logs exclude item text, passwords, bearer tokens and home keys. Audit records are eligible for deletion after 90 days; automated cleanup may take additional time. Hosting providers also maintain operational logs under their own retention settings.

Connection records keep permissions, consent, expiry, revocation and recent use. Private write receipts preserve operation identifiers and a keyed fingerprint so retries do not duplicate changes; they are kept until the associated home is deleted. Household data remains subject to the app's shared-home and account-deletion behavior.

Disconnecting and deletion

Manage your connections to disconnect. Revocation stops future authorized calls and refreshes; it does not delete content already returned to a ChatGPT conversation. Manage that conversation through ChatGPT's controls.

To leave a home or delete your I Told You account, use the app's Settings or request account deletion. Leaving a shared home removes your access while allowing the remaining member to retain shared content. If the last member deletes the home, its data is removed.
